Similar in style and content to our longer Rapid Evolution Workshops, Rapid Design Intensives were originally developed to suit a specific client’s needs. Our client needed an ultra-intense, get in and get out style workshop to identify gaps and challenges in their business and technology strategy. The client was ecstatic, if not a little overwhelmed, by what was uncovered in a single day.
Make no mistake, we do not use the word “Intensive” here lightly. It is a big day, designed to get into the nub of your problem and get out. Consistent with our overall integrated learning approach, we provide a background understanding of the process and methods along the way.
RDI’s can be used to focus on Business and Technology strategies, project planning, idea validation, business crisis management, and other problems requiring rapid alignment to stakeholder needs.
Format and Agenda
Rapid Design Intensives are run as a one-day condensed workshop with the key stakeholders in your team. In addition to attacking your specific challenge, the workshop is designed to improve your team’s knowledge and capabilities in these areas:
- Understanding Problems and Ideas
- Capturing and Assessing Stakeholder Needs
- Defining Solution Behaviors
- Ensuring a Quality Outcome
Due to its intense nature, participants should have at least some background in business, innovation, or technology, but is not compulsory.
